Denholm Seafoods is pleased to provide an update on the build of the new 'Taits' fishing vessel, which, when operational, will contribute to a reduced carbon footprint.
On the 13th of March the hull was moved into position at the shipyard in Poland. From there, the hull will then be towed to Norway to be fully fitted out.
The vessel is due to be delivered to Denholm Seafoods' partner, Klondyke Fishing Company, in late 2018, ready for fishing in January 2019. Designed by Rolls Royce, the new vessel will be 74.8 metres long and 15.5 metres wide.
The new 'Taits' will incorporate the latest fishing vessel technology, increased refrigeration and better vessel efficiencies will contribute towards its carbon footprint reduction.
